If you want to wander further afield, the Lodge serves as a perfect touring base for the whole of Dorset. Also within walking distance you will find the historic 17th century Weld Arms serving local drinks and outstanding food. 

An exquisite new addition to our Cottage Collection, Park Lodge offers elegant accommodation for up to eight guests across four generously proportioned bedrooms. Three of the rooms feature sumptuous super king-size beds that can be configured as twins upon request, while the fourth is appointed with a luxurious king size bed—making the lodge perfectly suited for families or groups seeking flexibility and space. Each bed is fitted with a premium Hypnos Cashmere mattress, renowned for its exceptional comfort and craftsmanship. 

Set within its own grounds and completely detached, Park Lodge offers a serene retreat in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Thoughtfully furnished with indulgent touches, each bedroom is equipped with goose down and microfibre pillows, crisp white Egyptian cotton linens, fluffy towels, and a soft cotton robe for each guest’s comfort. 

Inside, guests can relax in the warm embrace of the hunting lodge-style sitting and dining areas, each centred around a substantial log burner, nestled in a characterful original fireplace. Outside, the surrounding garden provides a peaceful setting for soaking up the fresh country air, while a private rear terrace—complete with ample seating—sets the scene for alfresco dining or simply unwinding under the open sky. 

The country-style kitchen is exceptionally well-appointed, featuring a large electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, and American-style fridge-freezer. An adjoining walk-in pantry offers extra storage and includes an additional fridge—ideal for keeping drinks chilled. A separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer for added convenience. A spacious WC is located on the ground floor. 

The Lulworth Estate is proudly dog-friendly, welcoming four-legged companions to join in your countryside escape. With walks right from the doorstep, it's a haven for dog lovers—though we kindly ask that dogs remain on a short lead while exploring the grounds to protect the sheep, peacocks and deer you may see roaming. Please note that the garden is not secure and livestock can be found regularly grazing around the perimeter of the property. For this reason, we kindly ask that dogs are kept under close control at all times to ensure the safety of both animals and guests. 

Just a short stroll through the beautiful castle grounds is The Weld Arms Pub & Kitchen, where you’ll find delicious locally sourced fare. Nearby, Past & Presents offers a delightful mix of local art, vintage treasures, and homeware. For everyday essentials, convenience stores are located in West Lulworth and Wool, and all major supermarkets can deliver directly to your door.

Each bathroom is stocked with our signature fragranced toiletries; Lulworth body wash, hand soap, and shampoo, which can be purchased at our Lulworth Cove Gift Shop. Central heating and Wi-Fi are provided throughout the property. Please note that mobile signal may be limited, so we recommend enabling ‘Wi-Fi calling’ on your mobile.

Your stay includes complimentary parking for up to four vehicles across the Lulworth Estate—granting you unlimited access to Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, and Lulworth Castle Park. For those wishing to explore further afield, a convenient bus stop in nearby West Lulworth offers links to Poole, Weymouth, and Swanage while the closest train station in Wool provides direct service to London Waterloo.
