Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove
Right on our Doorstep we’ve got the stunning Lulworth Cove, perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, walks and getting a lovely meal or coffee on the water. Durdle Door, a short walk away, is a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can see the unique natural limestone arch. Go for walk along the beaches, explore the caves, and admire the views.
Lulworth Castle
Lulworth Castle is also owned by the Lulworth Estate and therefore the Weld family. Walk the grounds, explore the inside, and learn about the history, and get a cream tea from the castle café.
Kimmeridge Bay
Kimmeridge Bay is best known for being a popular spot for fossil hunting, but it is also a good place for swimming, rock-pooling, and water sports! This bay just 30 minutes drive away is an excellent spot for people who have all different ideas of fun! You can search and collect loose fossils on the foreshore; however, hammering is forbidden.


Tank Museum
Bovington’s Tank Museum explores the story of tanks and their crews. Explore the history, 300 military machines and partake in a range of different activities for all ages. The Tank Museum is less than a 20-minute drive from us!
Corfe Castle
Walk around the castle ruins, learn about the history, do some light shopping and enjoy a lovely meal at the pub. Corfe Castle is also home to a railway where you can enjoy a peaceful steam train ride through Dorset's beautiful countryside all the way to the seaside town of Swanage.
Monkey World
Monkey world is Dorset's Ape rescue centre for over 250 primates. Only 15 minutes drive from us, it is suitable for kids and adults alike. Walk around and read more about the monkeys, what Monkey world works to achieve, all well admiring these fascinating animals!
Blue Pool
Blue Poole, less than 25 minutes drive away is an escape into nature. You can explore their scenic nature trails, walk around the beautiful blue lake, cross the UK’s lonest rope bridge, stop in their tea rooms, and visit their gift shop. The kiddies can get an activity form and keep an eye out for how many gnomes and fairies they see on the way!
